Sigurd Johan Heide (born 1979) is the project manager of ‘Bygda dansar’, who works on the scenic presentation of local folk dancing. He also works as a freelance choreographer, dancer and a dance educationalist. He is a folk dancer with a particular style and a strong personal expression.

KULTA is Norway's oldest circus school, and employs professional artists as instructors. Almost 300 children and young people regularly train with KULTA, in addition to the artists and instructing staff. KULTA has an established professional infrastructure providing costumes, technical equipment, stage management, set design and production management both internally and externally. In this course you will learn acrobatics, both singly and in couples, human pyramids, juggling and much more.

Day 4 - Tove Solbakk demonstrates a full bodypaint.
Tove Solbakk is a trained make-up artist and an inspiring coach. She has her own studio where she works with make-up, body paint and performance. She has also designed costumes for larger cultural productions within the opera and theatre genres.

Amongst the KULTA staff are world champions in scene combat from 2010! Teaching combat techniques for the stage and for movies has become one of their signature courses and here you will learn awesome kicks and tricks, in addition to falling techniques, hitting techniques and combat choreography which will stun the audience!
Master Classes
Master Classes are courses which go deeper into a single subject.
Day course. Participants wishing to study the technique in more depth may attend the course for two days.
A general writing and a place-inspired workshop in one.. On the first day you will write dialogues and try them out on stage. On the second day you will visit different places in the city and create site-specific installations with the dialogues.

The 2011 theme is DIALOGUE and our aim are to promote peace through the medium of theatre. The name of the festival is hence Tromsø DIALOG 2011.
We aim to initiate dialouges across borders and to keep the dialogue open: Together for theatre - together for peace!
