Title: My Way
My Way is a musical tribute to Frank Sinatra that pays homage to America’s all-time coolest crooner by trotting out a few dozen of the more than 1,300 songs Ol' Blue Eyes recorded in his unbelievably prolific career. Great songs combined with witty and charming dialogue create an ear-pleasing performance that will leave you feeling like the Chairman of the Board. My Way is not a Sinatra impersonation, but a tribute to the musical legacy this legendary performer left behind. Two men and two women sing some of his greatest hits, including “Strangers in the Night”, “All of Me”, “New York, New York”, “I Love Paris”, “That’s Life” and – of course – “My Way”. Midland Community Theatre (Midland, Texas, USA) is proud to represent the USA and present this musical tribute at this prestigious IATA/AITA international theatre festival.
The 2011 theme is DIALOGUE and our aim are to promote peace through the medium of theatre. The name of the festival is hence Tromsø DIALOG 2011.
We aim to initiate dialouges across borders and to keep the dialogue open: Together for theatre - together for peace!
