

Tromsø is a city with bustling cultural life, with new festivals constantly being organized. The city has a number of scenes of varying size, and Tromsø Dialog 2011 will be using several of these.

The theatre has four stages. The main stage, Stage West (Scene Vest), has 330 seats and the most advanced technical stage equipment in Norway, with 40 motorised flying bars, a motorized portal bridge in the scene tower and a revolving stage.
Scene East (Scene Øst) is slightly smaller than the main stage, and is well suited for more intimate shows. It has 130 seats and 24 fixed pulls.
The Theatre cafe (Teatercafeen) has up to 100 seats. The stage is situated in the theatre lobby.
The rehearsal hall (Prøvesalen) is also used as a stage, and has 50 seats.

This is the most important meeting place to exchange theatrical experiences in Tromsø. KulturHuset aspires to be a resource centre for the city's cultural life.
The KulturHuset is 6000 square meters and consists of three stages, a café and various public areas. The main stage can seat an audience of up to 650 divided between the amphitheatre and the gallery. It is also possible to remove the chairs, making room for 1200! Lillescenen is a much sought after, intimate stage, which holds an audience of up to 300 standing, which can also be used for a myriad of purposes. In addition we have the Forum and the Verkstedet, which are also used for shows.

Rådstua Theatre offers facilities for professional performing artists as well as amateurs. For over twenty years Rådstua Theatre has been the most important arena for the liberal performing arts in Tromsø. The theatre has a large black box with a modern public amphitheatre and equipment.
